Choir Concert
Brooklyn and Ben have been part of the school choir all this year. Tonight was their last performance this year at the school (they have a district competition next week at a different school). They have done a great job this year. It is neat to see how they have grown over the year. I am so very proud of them both!!!

BOB ~ Battle of the Books
Battle of the Books, better known as BOB (ok, not really, but I don't want to have to write out Battle of the Books a thousand times) regional meet was today. Ben was on one of the two teams from Ridgeview that was able to go the meet. Josh and I got the opportunity to go with him. It was a good experience to have with him, even if it was stressful watching him struggle to remember 40 books! Ben’s team had a not so good first round, but then came back in round two to take first, and then second in round three. Ben was so happy that they got a medal for first place. Overall the kids had a good time.

Myra
Myra cracks me up! Her sweet innocence is adorable. Yesterday while running errands she said something that made us all laugh (sadly I can’t remember today what it was). But as we were all laughing she yelled out “Mom! Brooklyn and Cat are laughing at me!” Which only made us laugh more, causing her to yell out again,”Mom!!! Cat is laughing at me! Make her stop!” We did not stop laughing. Last night Myra headed down to bed as I was trying to get Spencer to sleep (or so I thought). After I got Spencer in bed, I went to check on her. I had a mini panic attack. In the dark of the bedroom I could clearly see that Myra was not in her bed… I woke Brooklyn to see if Myra was up on her bed, and she was not. I then checked in Josh Jr.’s room, and Ben’s room to no avail. She was also not in the movie room or the toy room. Here is when the mini panic attack started to hit. I was pretty sure that wherever Myra was, she was a sleep! I didn’t want to just leave her until the next day, especially not knowing where she was. I went back to her bedroom to look again, in case I missed her. But this time I turned on the ligh. And that is when I finally found her. Fast a sleep.
Myra was a sleep on top of her dresser. Pillow and all.

Too much hair
I have four daughters... And they all have a LOT of LONG hair (Myra's not as long, but it's getting there)! On top of that I have LONG hair too (and mine is falling out some because of just having a baby). This leads to LOTS of hair EVERYWHERE! This leads to a problem with the vacuum. About every 6 weeks I have to extract the caught hair from the beater bar on the vacuum or it will tie up the bar and burn out the belt. I'm not sure how to fix this...
