Sick

I posted the other day about taking my kids to say goodbye to my mom's dog (dog is actually doing better).  Today Catalina asked if she could go to her grandma's house.  When I told her she couldn't because her grandma was sick she replied... "I bet I she got sick because of Trixie (the dog)!"  To cute!

I love my baby!  She sure does keep me on my toes :)

Sad :(

Sad, sad day :(  This evening we went over to my mom's house for dinner (that part was not sad)...  We mostly went so that my kids could say goodbye to my parents dog Trixie :(  Trixie's health is failing her, and it doesn't look like she will be here much longer.  My kids all want to have a chance to say goodbye before that happens.  It was a very long sad evening.  This is really the first time any of them remember losing a pet.  My parents have had Trixie since Josh Jr. (who is 12) was Myra's age (18 months old).  My kids will really miss the good dog :(

I'm not sure if I should be concerned or not...  I have two little girls, who I think might have eating problems...  One little girl hides her food, so that she doesn't have to eat it...  The other little girl takes food and hides it for later...  Not sure why they are doing this...  Weird kids :)

How much stuff do you need?

While trying to find coupons for a fun activity today I searched Brooklyn's backpack...  I found papers in it from AUGUST!!!  It was stuffed full of ALL sorts of things.  Along with a PILE of things thrown away, I also found...

My question is...  How much stuff does my 8 year old need to take to school with her each day???

The new year is off to a great start!  I even got a nap into today after church!  I discovered as I was coming out of the napping zone, that Savannah (my 6 year old) thought it would be a great idea to paint Myra's fingers!!!  Needless to say the nail polish has all been confiscated...  Here are some fun pictures from today though :)
