Cruise ~ Day 2

The second day of our vacation started off in a hotel in Miami!  Josh took advantage of sleeping in, but I guess I was just too excited to sleep.  I was up before 8 am :(  But it worked out fine, because it allowed me to go get us breakfast before it was closed up.  After a quick (boring) breakfast we packed up and got ready to go.  We had to catch the shuttle from the hotel to the Port of Miami at 11.  We were the first ones on the shuttle, and the last ones off.  But it was still before noon, and we thought that we had to wait until after 1:30 before they would let us on the boat...  But we were wrong!  We checked our bags, and went into to the terminal to check in.  And then we were on the boat before we knew it!

We spent the next couple hours wandering around the boat looking/figuring out where everything was.  Oh and eating of course :)  The boat was HUGE!!!  Our stateroom was on the 3rd deck of 12.  The pool was on the 10th deck...  After getting settled in we were on the 11th deck for leaving port!  that was a lot of fun to see.  As we slowly pulled out of port....

At 6pm we had a fancy sit down 4 course dinner.  We sat with three strangers that were very nice :)  After dinner we caught a stand up comedy act by Rondell Sheridan.  It was awesome!  After the show we wandered some more and caught a couple music acts in a lounge.

After a late night snack of pizza we headed to the cinema theater to watch "Crazy Stupid Love"  Love that movie!!!  Unfortunately I was WAY too tired, and we left about half way through to go back to our room.  But it was a fantastic first day on the cruise!!!

With out Internet, you can't blog... So day one of our trip is tonight! What a great day... After spending the night playing with the cutest 18 month old around, I slept through my alarm!!! I woke up 15 minutes before we wanted to leave... Needless to say we didn't get out the door as early as we wanted to. But we still made it to catch our flight with plenty of time.

Several hours later we landed in DC! We ate a quick lunch, got a pedicure (just me, not Josh), and walked the LONG way down the corridor to catch our next flight. However we didn't realize that they had already boarded people for the flight (there was no one around from the airline), and we could have missed the flight! Thankfully we did not!

After another long flight we landed in Miami around dinner time.  We caught the shuttle to our hotel and then took and nice muggie walk to a restaurant.  After a great diner we caught a ride back to the hotel and vegged.  I'm pretty sure I was a sleep before all my kids back in Colorado were... :)

Myra thinks she is a big girl.  She thinks she climb anything... 

Sometimes those things she climb get her in trouble :)

Catalina's Art

Catalina is the most creative child.  She LOVES to create art lately.  Not just drawing pictures, but CREATING pictures!  I'm not too sure if I enjoy her art work...  It usually involves making a little mess, and using paper products that I don't think she needs to use...

Myra's help

Myra is most helpful!  Not!!!  But she sure does try :)  She "helped" us out the other morning by getting herself breakfast...  And then trying to take it down to her siblings...  The results were not the best...  But at least she "helped" us clean it up :)

Sisters

When bathing the little girls the other night, I discovered that they had decided to give each other tattoos! I think they might be a little young... But at least they match :)

Ground Hog's Day

For as long as I can remember Josh and I have watched Ground Hog's Day the movie.  This year we will be in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean on Ground Hog's Day.  I'm not sure if we will have time/be able to watch it this year :(   A little sad, but not really too sad because face it, we are in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean on a FREE Cruise!
