Makeup Post 7-4-13

~ 4th of July ~ The 4th of July was a fun day! We spent most of it at the pool. The kids had a great time with daddy, Grandma Penny, Aunt Jodie and Grandpa Don (I was working at the pool). The kids had fun doing the money dive, Brooklyn really cleaned up this year. It was her last year in the shallow end off the pool ;) Savannah and Brooklyn also participated in the races. Savannah took first in her age group, and Brooklyn fought hard to get third (even after hitting her head at the beginning) Brooklyn was also the youngest in her group (that went up to 15 year olds) so she did awesome holding her own. After the pool party we went to a park to play with friends and wait for fireworks! It was a longer wait than we had expected, but the kids had fun playing. And the fireworks were worth the wait! It was overall a great day. Lots of good food and fun with friends and family!
