Why'd it have to end that way?

Today is Brooklyn's 8th Birthday!  It has been a birthday weekend for her.  Last night we took her and four friends to Itz for a party, and tonight we took her and two friends to the state fair (we won tickets).  We knew it would be late when we got home tonight, so we set up with the two friend's parents, to have them spend the night.  The three girls feel asleep in the car on the way home, and were VERY tired when we got home.  And wouldn't you know it...  Brooklyn and one of her friends had to have a fight!  What a sad way to end a great evening :(
