Chores!

We all had chores growing up.  We all did chores.  But I don't remember when I learned them.  I just remember doing them.  And I didn't talk back about having to do them or complain when I had to re-do something I hadn't done right (at least I don't remember complaining or talking back).  So how do you teach your kids how to do chores???  And not complain about doing chores???  With out a lot of yelling :)

  2. Ummm...I guess you could bribe them with extra money for their allowance; or how about having them earn points for a special "date with the parents"?

  3. I just made a new "chore wheel" tonight- I think all parents struggle with this one. One thing we do that helps our older kids (8 and older) is if they don't finish the first job within an certain time they earn another job. They don't like more jobs! Good luck- love following your family even though I don't comment often!
