What the Heck?

It's raining as I write this.  I love the rain!  I love how it cools things off, makes everything turn green, but most of all how it smells!  I even love a good thunder storm, where the ground moves, and the sound goes on and on. I love the rain!  Yesterday it rained good and hard!  The rain lasted for over an hour even. It was so nice!  But during this rain something unusual happened...

 My brother came over to help with a computer problem (that is NOT the weird thing).  It was raining hard when they got here.  His family came with him.  I noticed when his daughter walked in the grass that water splashed up.  I was about to warn my nephew, but he took a step into the grass before I could say anything...  That is when I noticed the grass.  It was bulging up.  Like a little dome.  And when you stepped on the grass it moved!!!  So crazy.  I of course ran back in to get the camera and try to take a picture of it.  As it continued to rain, the grass continued to grow!  Until it POPPED!  That's right, the grass popped!  You could see where it was no longer attached, and where the water was pouring out!.  I should probably be concerned about the fact that my grass was growing, but it was sooo cool that I'm not :)
